Charges have been laid in the death of a 34-year-old woman who was found unconscious at a Bonnyville home Sunday afternoon.
Christopher McCallum, 41, is facing second-degree murder charges in connection to the woman's death.
The man and woman were in a common-law relationship.
Police say they received a 911 call around 2:30 p.m. from a male who reported that the woman was unconscious.
An autopsy reveals her death was a homicide.
Police say the couple got into a fight earlier and the victim died from her injuries.
