Police are asking the public to be on the lookout for a missing 15-year-old from B.C. who may be staying in Alberta's capital.

According to RCMP, Marcus Simonson of Chilliwack was last seen by his step-mother on October 9th. It's believed he does not have a cell phone or any identification on him.

Police say Simonson contacted his mother through Facebook on October 10th, but did not disclose his location.

CTV News is told he disappeared once before when he hitchhiked to Alberta with a friend.

Simonson is described as follows:

  • Caucasian

  • 5'10"

  • 145 lbs

  • Short brown hair

He was last seen wearing a black t-shirt, red Adidas zip up sweater, blue jeans, and a black baseball cap.
