One of 30 alleged war criminals has been deported from Canada. Cristobal Gonzalez-Ramirez was arrested in Edmonton and is now on his way back to Honduras.
Nearly two weeks ago, the federal government released the names and photos of 30 people who had entered Canada illegally.
Cristobal Gonzalez-Ramirez, AKA Ramirez Cristobal, of Honduras, was arrested in Edmonton shortly after.
He came to Canada in 2006 and was ordered to leave Canada last year after allegations of war crimes surfaced.
