The city's 28th homicide of the year has been identified by police as 57-year-old William Arthur Reid Hill. His body was found in a home north of downtown last Thursday night.
Edmonton police were called to the area of 109 Ave. and 97 St. around 8 p.m.
Police say the manner of death has been confirmed to be a homicide.
An autopsy was performed Friday afternoon. Police have not said how the victim died.
