Police say they now have another homicide investigation on their hands after a 20-year-old man died after being badly beaten.
The victim of the assault has been identified as 20-year-old Yusuf Abdirahim. The Medical Examiner conducted an autopsy on Tuesday and ruled the manner of death as a homicide.
The victim was found by an officer patrolling the neighbourhood around 149th Ave. and 70th St. last Thursday around 3 a.m.
Police say the young man died in hospital.
Police reveal homicide detectives have spoken to witnesses, including another male involved in the incident, but no charges have been laid at this time.
Detectives say they are not looking for any other persons in the case.
