The RCMP are investigating the suspicious deaths of a male and female who were found deceased at a rural residence near the community of Brownvale, located approximately 45 kilometres southwest of Peace River.
Police say early Monday morning, the officers from the Peace Regional RCMP Detachment responded to a 911 call at the residence.
Upon arrival, police say officers confirmed that an adult male and female were deceased .
The Peace River Major Crimes Unit and the Peace River Forensic Identification Unit are involved in investigating the deaths.
Police say they are not looking for any suspects at this time. The identities of the two individuals have not been released.
