A 38-year-old from Wandering River is the lone suspect in a homicide investigation after RCMP say they located what's believed to the remains of his 34-year-old partner.
The discovery came around 8 a.m. Friday in a rural area near Lac La Biche.
Trevor Bobocel is charged with second-degree murder and causing indignity to the body of his common-law wife, Roxanne Bigelow.
RCMP say an autopsy is scheduled for next week.
Bobocel is set to appear in Lac La Biche Provincial court on Monday at 10 a.m.
