The University of Alberta has taken back the world record for hosting the largest dodgeball game.
Exactly 2,012 people suited up for one of the biggest days in the history of the game.
Some of the participants say they spent the last six months training, in an attempt to take the title back from the University of California.
"I have a very important test in an hour," admitted one participant. "I should be studying but I'm not. I'm here."
Staff, students and alumni all took part in the game.
It's the second time in two years the university has staged such an event. Last year, the U of A won the title only to be topped later by the California match.
At 45 minutes into the game, Cody Thorpe, a kinesiology student, was the last competitor standing.
"I got a lot of practice avoiding balls but you can't hide from that many," said Thorpe, who plays in a recreational league.
There were 800 more people playing in this year's game, compared to the event at the U of A last year.
