Minister of Infrastructure Ray Danyluk says eating a pretzel with some peanut butter in it caused him to have a sudden allergic reaction while at the Alberta Legislature Monday.
"There was a bowl of pretzels and I just kinda snuck one," he said.
An ambulance arrived at the Alberta Legislature to take the minister to the hospital. Danyluk says he has a lifelong allergy to peanuts but didn't know the pretzels has peanut butter in them.
Danyluk says he now feels fine but will have to take pills for the next few days.
