A second youth wanted by police in the murder of a Lac La Biche man has been arrested.
The suspect was found late last night. Both he and another youth, both 14-years-old, are charged with second degree murder in the death of 36-year-old Hector Cardinal. Police say the victim died from blunt force trauma in an apparent fight on Monday night.
The suspects cannot be named due to their ages. They are scheduled to appear in court on January 4, 2010.
There was another violent attack in Lac La Biche that night that sent a man to hospital with life-threatening injuries. RCMP say they have not been able to link the two crimes. Both incidents are under investigation.
