A double-decker bus will be making the commute between Sherwood Park and Edmonton for the next three weeks so transit officials can decide whether or not to purchase it.

The bus seats up to 80 people, about twice as many people as a normal bus can carry.

On Sunday Sherwood Park Transit invited the public to jump on for a free test drive.

"I think it's an attraction. There aren't any in Alberta so I think it would be interesting if we had the first one in the province," said transit user Sabine Shabbit.

Officials will decide whether or not to buy the $750,000 bus in about three weeks.
