Police have issued an Amber Alert are searching for a suspect who is believed to have abducted a 7-year-old girl from a park in northeast Edmonton Sunday afternoon.
The girl was last seen in a park at 11:15 this morning. She was playing with her two brothers, when a man approached her, the lone occupant of the vehicle, and coaxed into leaving the area with him.
It is believed the suspect is a caucasian male about 20-30 years of age. The man is balding with blond hair. He was wearing silver rimmed glasses and is believed to be six feet tall, wearing a dark coloured zip-up jacket and light blue jeans.
CTV News has learned the man may have approached two other young girls prior to the incident telling them he had kittens for sale.
